Something Special for Someone Special

A Heavenly Gifted Day, but truly every day we should be thankful and BELIEVE every day is a gift.

But today is a special one because I’m writing this to that special person who will see my photo, and after reading this will want to know more about me. I’m 42 years young, and I’m not writing anyone. I’m a considerate, loyal man when it comes to family and friends, and respectful all-around. I love to write, focusing on books and poetry at the moment. I’d love to find someone to share this positive vibe with, someone who loves to laugh and smile, but serious about life and future. The purity of a person’s heart always matters to me. And Heaven knows I would love to be a good ear and influence to anyone willing to give a big-hearted man a chance, especially in these times when something real can be so hard to find.  I ain’t perfect but I try every day, and will continue. I have a Heavenly Christ Faith attitude and BELIEVE that sometimes we may need more than a second chance to get things right, or to make something good out of this life.

I have 3½ more years before I make parole and would love to spend that time developing a friendship with that special person. So please tell me something about you and I will write back.

Before you go, please read one of my latest poems. Enjoy!

Walked outside and seen a rainbow
and had no choice but to smile knowing
that was the sign!
Heavens best was smiling down;
been through some times and hard ones seem
to always come round and round.
But don’t let these words get you down
because with the rain always comes the sun again.
Like when a sent (Heaven sent) person smiles at you
… now catch the clues …
The smile is saying more than how you do???
Sometimes the best can be put right in front of you.
To heal your wounds, mend a broken heart,
to never again let your world fall apart.
Who learns your mind before your heart.
Indeed sometimes we all need a brand new start.
A second chance, or two, maybe a few more had
to do before this truth was meant to find you,
The rainbow meant …

Either way smile because this poem was meant for you.
