My name is Kevin Burton, I’m 37 years old. I’m locked up in the FEDS for distribution of a controlled substance, Crack Cocaine. They gave me 15 years in 2014; I only have to serve 12 years of that in prison and one year in a halfway house, leaving only 2 more years before I am released. Made a connection, but not what I was looking for. I understand it takes real loyalty and genuine friendship to accept someone going through this ordeal, yet I’m hoping to find that special connection now that I’m closer to coming home.
