I have a confession …
In my past relationships I used to do things that ultimately became counterproductive to the growth of my relationships. I would pull away; I created problems where there were none, I would argue over small things that really meant nothing to me. Is it safe to say that you and I were somewhat the same? The closer we got, the more vulnerable and afraid we became.
I never understood, until I took the time to taste my tears and listen to my pain. That’s when I realized that I was just as afraid of being hurt as you were … but don’t worry, this will be our little secret.
Your race, age, body type is unimportant to me. I’m only interested in the innermost makings of you. My sole intention is to enjoy the mystery of knowing you. Take in every exciting opportunity to learn from you. Then, fall head-over-shoes for you, with anticipation of one day truly understanding you.
People are similar to art, and unfortunately, 300 words cannot paint the essence of my character’s canvas; so I’m asking, can I have the privilege of viewing yours?
