If this is where you stopped, this is where we start. I appreciate your time, interest, and effort. Being incarcerated is often like being forgotten. But in 2026, it’s a crazy world so finding a positive connection is a good look.
My name is Charles Irving Ellis. That’s Mr. Ellis to you. I’m in my fourth level (40’s) and three summers to the door (freedom). I stand at 6’3” carrying about 270 pounds. I’m hard to miss but easy to reach. With 20 years of imprisonment completed, I see things differently. I always have and always maintain certain values such as honesty, loyalty, and respect. I have traveled through many hard times, but rather than complain about them, I have learned how to gain from it all. Growth, Resilience, and Rehabilitation. Although some feel it’s best to turn down, I feel my best in times to turn up.
No one lives forever, and with the grace of the Almighty I offer this invitation into an experienced perspective. Friendships are forged in fire, and your actions seem to define you more than your words ever could. Yet here I stand, not broken but ready to build … Can you hear me now?
I enjoy reading, writing, and working out. I have written and published a few books while incarcerated. Time is the true currency in life, and I aim to spend it correctly. Positive energy is all I seek. Surrounded by the opposite, I look forward to a new approach … That sounds dope. Approaching a new day I am grateful and open to hearing from you.
Respectfully,
Charles Irving Ellis
