Me on the other hand, I have really taken this time to grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, as a person. I’m a true believer that regardless of a person’s age, there’s always room for improvement. They say that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but little did I know that I was a straight cat. For real! Do you know the definition of a J-cat? It’s doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. That was me for 25 years. I was like that dog who chases his tail. Lost in my addiction and criminality. I threw my life away and failed my daughter as a father.
Being raised by a single mother and abandoned by my father. That was a hard pill for me to swallow. You know it’s true what they say “You don’t know what you have until it’s gone.” With no sense of direction, I took my life for granted and I lost everything. Today, I’m doing everything in my power to regain everything that I lost. I have a purpose in life. What’s yours?
