Life is full of surprises, either good or bad, depending on what you make out of it. I never thought I’d be in prison serving a life sentence or even on a prison website. It has been a tough battle, but I am fighting to overturn my wrongful conviction and pray to be free one day.
Originally, I am from Lynn, Massachusetts USA. Before I came to prison, I enjoyed doing the simple things in life. I love the summer, going on adventures to find new places, dancing, and being around people who love to laugh. In 2012, I attended Salem State University with a goal of earning a Bachelors degree in computer science. I was also working full time at a sleep study company.
In prison I have come to understand life is about growth and learning never ends. If you’re not willing to grow and change, you will never progress. Now I study law, I play several musical instruments, I’m an athlete, I work out and pray daily. I’m always trying to find new ways to make myself a better person.
I’m honest with a big heart. I love challenges and making jokes. One of the things I value most is family. I will always give a person their respect and I’m not a person who judges. I want to find someone who can make me feel like they care. I’m making a lot of progress with my case and I know my life sentence is only temporarily. I will be home one day. I have a lot of goals for life and welcome anyone who wants to be a part of them.
