In the name of Allah, the all Merciful, the ever Merciful, His support it is that we seek.
No power to change nor strength there is except through God, the High … the Great …
As-Salamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, Muslimeh, STOP!!! Don’t pass me by without being reminded that God made the Mumin for the Muslimah (Surah 24:32) to be interdependent of each other. I guess this would imply to someone that’s not likely shallow and, more importantly, with a flexible mind, it would give us infinite opportunities to be nothing more than friends first. It’s been my experience that when you have a genuine friend in your corner “nothing becomes everything … loneliness becomes happiness … and with sharing comes caring”. I am usually not given to simply reaching out, I suppose because in this patriarchally society, men are taught that it’s unmanly to admit need, to express sensitivity, to just even down right say they are lonely and need a friend, and I guess that is simply what this whole letter amounts to; an ailing soul, and anguished mind, and a lonely heart in search of a Mumin Muslimah that’s striving in pursuit of Allah’s pleasure, one that puts the Quran and Sunnah first. Allah says our kids, money, job and the dunya will be a test for us, so we must be nascent for each other and recollect what prophet Muhammad said: this life is a non-believer’s paradise and a believer’s prison.
Each of us is unique, will you share some of yourself with me? With the greatest anticipation, I humbly and patiently insha Allah await your reply.
