As I pen these words I’m truly excited at the thought of what this might grow into. The thought of meeting someone great isn’t wishful thinking, it’s recognizing the power of the human potential. If you’re reading this, there is a good chance that you are that great person I’m waiting to meet. It doesn’t matter who you are, I’m open to befriending you.
I’m from Houston, Texas, and one of my talents is writing – novels, poetry, magazine articles, or anything useful – but I think my best talent is being a genuine friend and good listener. In fact, my middle name means ‘good companion’, so I try to live up to it.
I’m focused on moving forward in life. That includes leaning more about life, about myself, and creating great things with people of like mind. I hope that someone is you.
As a writer I find myself putting many things on paper. Unfortunately, I don’t always have the right audience to share some of my ideas with and I believe someone on the outside can bring relief for me.
I’ve been incarcerated since 2007 and for the most part I’ve been alone but only because I didn’t see a bigger picture. I’m at a point in life where I realize “no man is an island” and that moving forward is greater when you have good people around you. Posting this profile is my way of breaking out of my old comfort zone.
