First and foremost, I want to thank you for taking the time to read my profile, it means a lot to me.
If you are not familiar with prison, it’s a very toxic place and extremely lonely. It has a way of making you feel like there is no longer a world outside of the walls. That is what lead me here on this website. Looking for a potential friend, someone I can correspond regularly with during hard times.
I am looking for a woman who I can build a true friendship with. That will be able to share some of the same values in life as I do. I have always thought that a relationship is built on honesty, respect, and loyalty so those are all very important to me as well.
As far as I go, prison is just a setback in my life.
I spend most of my time improving myself by strengthening my knowledge and wisdom through books to escape the mental bondage. I know that prison comes with a stigma, one being that all of us are evil people.
Yet more than half of us have been here since we were kids ourselves. Hardly knew right from wrong as we have learned from the system and come from a world where we are socially and emotionally deprived. I am not trying to sound like I am making excuses for why I am here, just saying there’s more to me than meets the eye.
