A strong person knows how to keep their life in order, even with tears in their eyes, because they still manage to say “I’m O.K.!” with a smile.
In my 24 years of incarceration, this is my first attempt at correspondence of this nature, and I look forward to building a friendly rapport with sincerely open-minded women of all nationalities and backgrounds. My unfortunate situation makes it difficult to establish meaningful dialogue outside of family, so this is a leap into unfamiliar territory. I’m mature enough to know that not all of us have “spiritual eyes” that enable us to recognize God’s involvement when we meet someone new.
I’m very meshed into Christian faith and this is a staple of the man I’ve become. Being in tune with my spirituality I recognize and understand the oneness of the Supreme Creator, but I do not shun nor dismiss other belief systems. All views and schools of thought are welcomed and we can build off the connected truths if permissible. I’ve learned that controversy of dogma and faith disappears when deeds and action of righteousness are weighted. In other words, I feel as though whatever you think, practice, or believe, if it’s making you a better person and implementing principles of peace, harmony, and unity into your consciousness you’re someone I’d like to be associated with, so I can share of that energy.
Yes, I’m at a disadvantage by being here. Hopefully this inkling of a seed creates a vineyard amongst us that’ll not only build a friendship with positive capabilities, but also have the advantage of getting better over time. All I ask is for a fair chance to represent myself. I’m more qualified than most.
