Love is etched across your heart permanently, just as tattoos are crafted into your skin to declare story of things and people you loved, lost or found, and of the joys and pains they brought you along the way. My facial, head and other tattoos tell my story of love, heartbreak and the road I’ve travelled. Tattoos for me were very therapeutic in moving past stages in my life. As you can see I’ve had many stages. Haa! Plus, I am a licensed tattoo artist who loves ink. I also have a passion for writing. I’m currently writing a novel. I also write poetry. Here’s a small excerpt:
“My heart bleeds memories that fall into a river of regrets, as my hopes and wishes swim towards an ocean of uncertainty.”

Many of you have loved ones who are incarcerated. In my 25 years of incarceration I’ve raised three daughters from behind the walls of State and Federal prisons. So trust me, I know how hard it is. Now I’m 49; on New Year I’ll be 50.
I’m an O.G. who’s done all the Hood and prison “politics”. Now I’m looking to better myself and build a better life than the one I’ve led. I do respect people in the struggle, no matter where that may be. And if you were born in the Hood, Hollywood Hills or a Country town and are not happy, please know the world is bigger than your area and through your choices from this day forward, you can find peace and happiness, wherever that may lie for you.
As for me, I know I will not find happiness in prison or in dwelling in my past. I want and deserve better and have paid the price many times over to earn the right to find it. I have loved, lost and after many years my heart has “healed.” True loss ad heartbreak take may years to get over, and you women who have truly lost love know what I mean. But do not give up. Your Mr. Right is out there. Who knows, it may be me?
Write and share your story with me. Just be sincere and yourself. I will listen and if we have something in common that will be great. But I promise not to waste your time. I am looking to build a relationship. I have 8½ years with good time left before I can go “home”, plenty of time to get to know one another. I’m not opposed to friendship but it has to be beneficial to both of us. I make my money with my art, writing, tattooing, etc. I’m looking to build something genuine, not just pass time. I do have a small nest egg saved up but I’d like to make it grow. I also have a good support system. I have a loving sister, daughter, and beloved mother who send me letters, money and support. I’m blessed there, for now. But I do not have a lady. I do not like the email thing when first meeting someone. I can write or call you. I will not call collect. Please take the time to write me at the address below, you will not be let down. Mail policy here is weird: use white envelopes, white and lined paper, no perfume, lipstick or stickers, and no more than 5 pages long.
Hope to hear from you.
