That made you stop, huh? (smile) Now that I got your attention let me try and keep it. The easy part is catching the eye, the hard part is people overlooking my crime. I don't blame you cause it still shocks me, but one bad mistake is like in my case one bad judge of character, anyone can end up like me. I'm not asking you to look past it, but instead give me a chance to explain it.
I have been incarcerated since the age of 17, now I'm 32 years old. With age has come growth, and a better outlook. The only thing I am lacking is companionship. I have not let prison hinder my accomplishments. I got a degree, took computer classes, and been studying law.
Success breeds confidence, and this is why I'm reaching out now. To love oneself is the beginning of a life long romance. I no longer allow the rejection of other people cause me to reject myself. That being said, I'm looking for someone to share my dreams, passion, goals, and love with. (smile) I need someone to look past the surface and get to know me for the man today, and not the man in my past. Someone who is not timid to open up to something they may be scared off. Great things come from where we least expect them. Also, great rewards require great risk. So hopefully you are not afraid to explore the unknown.
