Ronnie Worley

Hello,
My name is Ronnie, I’m 29 years old, and I’m incarcerated in West Virginia’s Mount Olive Correctional Complex. My desire in writing and subscribing to this service is to discover new friends with whom I may correspond.

I’m an aspiring musician with an incredible passion for music. I play the bass guitar in a band and write most of the music we play - music is a release for the emotions this place creates within me.

My love to write, especially poetry, has no doubt led to my love for writing song lyrics. I have even tried my hand at writing a novel and greatly enjoyed that as well. Writing helps me to constructively pass time, vent frustrations, and of course express my innermost thoughts, feelings, and passions. Writing enables me to channel all my energy through my pen and onto the pages.

I’m furthering my formal education by taking extension classes through a local university, for which I receive credits that can be counted toward a degree. My desire is to obtain at least an associate degree in psychology so that I may be able to help others who have had similar experiences as I. Should I be released, I intend to counsel those who are incarcerated, pre- and post-release, and also family members and friends of those individuals.
