Given A Chance

In considering the preconceived thoughts one may have regarding prisoners, which may play a part in your decision to take a chance on me.

I realize outside of being limited in certain aspects nothing you’ve heard or been through applies to me. Reason being, I’m different in ways that I will change your life.
That is what should be considered in your decision regarding me. Otherwise, you too are a prisoner. The only difference is you’re a prisoner by choice.

Although I’m bound by limitations, everyday I see women being deprived of things that are required for their happiness by those who aren’t limited (Eg. You’re reading this). Therefore, you have yet to know and feel the things I’m not limited in providing.

I know the feeling being deprived of things that contribute to happiness, therefore I’d never intentionally subject you to those feelings. Although, being deprived of those things has helped me to identify requirements for my happiness and enhanced my desire to find you. It has also helped me to identify and apply things that are required to ensure that happiness.

However, contrary to what you’ve heard, outside of exchanging thoughts and ideas in the hopes to establish a friendship exempt from limitations there’s nothing else you can give me that’ll help in dealing with the adversity I face within these walls. For 18 years now, I’ve been judged, condemned and deprived based on my present situation rather than me. Therefore what I seek is the same courtesy you’ve extended to those who failed, whereas I’d succeed in contributing to your happiness.

I promise you’ll never come to regret it, you’ll always have someone willing to listen when you wanna talk and someone to make you smile when you feel otherwise.
