Richard Duran

My name is Richard Duran, my friends call me "Pancho". I'm from Sacramento California. I've been doing this number by myself. I will be starting my 15th year of my incarceration on 1-2-11. The State might be cutting 3 strikers loose. If that happens, I would like to have somebody in my life to spend whatever years I have left in this life as a free man. I'm tired of this lifestyle I've led for myself. My intentions are to never come back to prison and I know that's easier said than done for people like myself. But what life has taught me is that everybody needs somebody to be loved by, and to be able to give their love to. Also it has taught me tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

So with that said, I want somebody to love me for me and what I can bring to a relationship, not what they want me to be or think I should be, but just for me. I hope that doesn't sound too hard and direct but that's what prison does to a man or woman behind these walls, in a four cornered room. They just get hard to certain things, period.

I guess I could go on about myself, about my wants and desires in life, but I won't. I will share that with whomever I meet through this internet adventure. I know that will be part of the fun, meeting someone like this and getting to know them with my pen and paper first. You can see what this guy looks like; that's 50% of what is to come. If someone is feeling what I'm putting on paper, well then it's on!
