I first would like to thank you for taking the time out to view my ad. My name is Marcus and I'm a 40 years old from New York City. I've been imprisoned for the last 10 years for robbery. Unfortunately I can say I've made some critical mistakes in my life that has caused me years of mental pain and anguish. One thing is for sure and two things are for certain, the man I am now is nothing like I used to be!!!

I learned that virtues are things to be always striven after, embraced and cultivated, for they are amply rewarded; and vices are bad things to be avoided at all costs, for they bring one nothing but trouble and punishment.

I learned that good deeds advance one positively in life and lead to a greater and fuller development of self; and that bad deeds accomplish the contrary.

I learned that good always invariably triumphs over evil; that having brains is often better than having brown; and that underdogs in all situations of life need to have unlimited patience, resiliency, stubbornness and unshakable hope in order to become triumphant in the end.

I learned to prefer peace over war, cleverness over stupidity, laurels over hate, sensibility over stoicism, humility over pomposity, reconciliation over hostility, harmony over strife, patience over rashness, gregariousness over misanthropy, creation as opposed to annihilation.

I'm motivated with strong urges to keep on fighting, to keep on trying regardless and to never succumb to poverty, fear, pain and suffering. To study hard and keep on knocking at the doors of opportunity and patiently wait for them to open up eventually.

I'm amiable, fun-loving, kind, considerate, respectable, down to earth and principled. I'm good-natured and good-humored; laughter is the best medicine for both the heart and soul. I stay mentally and physically fit via steady healthy diets of things, both intellectually stimulating and mentally edifying and a daily routine of rigorous physical exercise.

I'm sincerely interested in connecting with a woman who is compatible and can become a special friend to me and gradually throughout the course of time our friendship can blossom and together we can become kindred spirits that's truly heartfelt.
