I greet you in the universal language of peace, love and happiness. I thank you for taking time out to read this letter. I am a Hispanic man seeking to meet someone who is open-minded, and willing to grow in a healthy friendship. I am a 38 years old man who has been incarcerated since the age of 17; I am serving a sentence of 25 years to life; my case is in front of the Governor of PA. for a possible early release, due to my accomplishments since my incarceration.

I am an artist/writer; my work has been exhibited in prestigious places, such as the Philadelphia Museum. My First Novel will be published this year. I hold a Bachelor Degree from the University of Villanova. My only interest is to find someone with whom I can share my thoughts and dreams.

Just as a poet needs inspiration to write a masterpiece, I need your friendship... Just as an artist needs a subject for his work of art, I need your friendship...After all, friendship is the connection to everything in this world.

Many people go through life without ever experiencing a true friendship. They dream of such happiness, but it always seems to elude them. I feel lucky that I am able to communicate these sincere words to you, so I ask you to grant me the opportunity to build a friendship with you based on mutual trust.

If you are down to earth, unpredictable, exciting, intelligent and humble, please pick up a pen and paper and write me a line... my heart is swirling with anticipation. Let your friendship be the nourishment of my soul. Words, which lie within, are my only direct bridge to the real world.
