Hello,
My name is LaVar Overton, but everybody calls me "Var". I've currently been incarcerated for 13 years and will be released on 2/10/2012. But it's very possible for me to be released to an halfway house this coming August.
I'm 31 years old and I'm from Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout the years of my incarceration, I've been able to educate myself in business management, and the masonry trade. I've also been able to provide myself with the knowledge of getting to know myself as a man and what's important in life to me.
Before I'm released, I most definitely would like to meet a woman who's pure at heart and wants to get to know me as a person. I'm a man of respect, loyalty and loyalty. That's all I can offer you at this time but I assure you that I'm a man you'll enjoy corresponding with and getting to know.
It's funny to me but maybe strange to you. I'm still trying to understand how it is that someone is able to put my profile on the computer and introduce me to the world? The Internet wasn't a big deal when I was home, and now it's like the net runs the world. I realize that I'm computer illiterate and I'll need someone to show me the ropes about this when I'm released.
At one point during my incarceration I thought I had a special woman in my life but my time and sentence was too long for us to stay together. But her walking out of my life has allowed me to grow more and appreciate the absence of a woman because now I know how to value her presence.
