Ever wish to speak to someone and actually have them hear you, for them to listen to what’s really going on, for them to seek to understand your point of view?
How about being able to exchange thoughts, feelings, and values knowing that each word is being received and responded to in kind? This what I value and offer. What about you?
Being in my circumstance gave me the freedom to delve deep into conversation, to explore the many aspects of another, and to offer my most right, sincere, and heartfelt opinion. When we speak, you’ll be the center of my focus, nothing else matters but the moment we share, together. This may be selfish, in part, to consider you before myself. Selfish because I’ll want to know your feelings, thoughts, and values, but that’s my goal. This is to understand the complexity of all you are, all you wish to be and to be there encouraging you along the way. I am your captured audience. You have my full attention; I will strive to appreciate all of yours.
A little more about myself. I’m originally from Chicago and joined the US Army at age 17. Which brought me to the Northwest. While stationed here at JBLM I made the selfish decision that demands me to pay society with 18 years of my life. It has been a rough journey but I’m grateful for the experience and early lifetime lesson. Even though my life didn’t have to go this direction I will continue to make the best of this situation.
Thank you for your time.
