Ladies,
This is hard for me to do, to find the right words to get you to see who I am and why you should write me. See, I’ve been through a lot, that’s how I ended up in my current situation. Before I say another word, let me apologize for these circumstances. I would’ve liked for our initial encounter to be under more favorable conditions, but unfortunately that’s out of my control.

I’m searching for that one who is able to interpret the true essence of these words. I’m not here to play games with your heart, nor your feelings. I’m looking for someone I can talk to, listen to, and share my thoughts and ideas with or vice versa, someone with whom I can have a nurturing relationship that allows us both to emerge as better people. Simply put, I’m looking for a friend. I realize that I’m in a difficult position in which to accomplish this, but difficult isn’t impossible. I realize what I’m up against so all I’m asking is that you don’t try to put me in a box, judge me by my words and actions. Please don’t judge me for my past mistakes or feed into the stereotypes, jail is where I reside, it does not define me as a man, I define me!

My most likable trait would have to be dependability – I’m a Taurus. I’m caring, gentle, giving, affectionate, and easy going. I have a natural charismatic warmth with a sense of humor. I’m also into music and art. There is much more to me, but I’ll leave that for our letters.
With that said, I’ll end this now in hope that this has reached its destination, the hands of someone special, YOU. I look forward to the beginning of our friendship. Until our next opportunity, be healthy and unreasonably happy.
