God Bless You! I would first like to thank those who have responded. Your letters have made my heart smile again. I truly hope my current residence won’t hinder your response! This correspondence helps me maintain some sort of contact to the free world.

I’m a 51 old African-American seeking friendships. This is my first and last time in prison. Prison is a very lonely and depressing place, and I am blessed to have a few family members who stand by me during my stay here. I feel I let them down, but they won’t admit it.

I am 90% guilty of the crimes for which I am in prison for ”robbery and sales of cocaine” which I am in no way proud of. I can’t change my past, but I will make the most of my future no matter where I am.

We never foresee or think about what we loose in prison, and what I lost I can never get back. I recently suffered an irreplaceable loss, and I keep thinking everyday I could have saved her.

I am not seeking any financial support! I am responsible for my current situation, and I am the one who has to deal with it. I’ve been searching for love lately, but true love seems to elude me so I am done looking. I will concentrate instead on just being a good friend to someone, until I am a free man again.

Upon release, I plan to work some type of prison prevention program. Prison is not cool at all; fast living leads here or to the grave yard. Feel free to ask me any questions you like, I will give you an honest answer.

I am a Christian, and definitely heterosexual. Your race, age, and weight are not important to me, it’s the heart that makes all the difference.
