Is it really possible to live a life with NO REGRETS? To me, it would seem virtually impossible especially being a man in prison, yet one of the things that I hear daily out of fellow prisoners' mouth is "I HAVE NO REGRETS!" I frown every time I hear this and think, "How could that be?" HELLO! NEWS FLASH! YOU LIVE IN PRISON!!! I personally have a TON OF REGRETS. For starters, I regret the poor choices I've made that led to me abandoning my lovely mom and family. It's true I must now move forward today and not swallow in my regrets of yesterday, however I do have regrets and I do strive to be a better person with each passing day. And if anyone who's reading this was hurt by me in any way, shape or form I would like to say that I'm truly sorry and please forgive me because I DO REGRET IT!
Today, I try to live my life with no regrets but find it much easier to live by the cliche' - "It is what it is."
Take care and God Bless.
