HOOD LIFE

Did the “HOOD” take me down or did I do this to myself?
I still can remember growing up in a single parent home in South Central, Los Angeles and my mom telling me that hanging out in the HOOD will only have two outcomes, death or prison. Of course like most teenage boys I thought that my mom was just old fashioned and over protective of her only boy. My logic was, “how would mom know about HOOD-LIFE if she never hung out in the HOOD?” Well, obviously she saw that movie “Boys in the HOOD” because here I am stuck like a truck with no engine! As for my dad, well let's just say he did his best.

As of now I’m trying to reach out beyond these prison walls in hopes of meeting some special people to share thoughts, ideas and goals with. I now look at life as a journey and I believe we control our own destiny. I consider myself a people person with an open mind and great personality. I believe a sense of humor goes a long way when dealing with people as well as everyday life problems. I also love to listen to all sorts of music from Rap to Rock. I’m not a judgmental person, my philosophy is now whatever works for you and keeps you out of trouble. Life is a life long learning process and we can never stop learning or know too much. Hopefully I’ll learn more about you soon.
Don’t forget I cannot send or respond to e-mails. SNAIL MAIL ONLY! Peace out.
