Derick Bell

My name is Derick. I’m 32 years old, 6’3”, 170 pounds. In 2000, I made a bad decision dealing with the opposite sex. I am remorseful and I hope someone out there sees that. In 2000, I was given 5 years probation and revoked in 2004. Now I am eligible for parole, however it may be until 2010 to 2014 before I’m actually released. I’m currently on a list to take a vocational trade and some college courses. I’d like to get a degree in International Business or Radio Broadcasting and eventually start my own business.

I enjoy reading educational, business, and health magazines. I have no kids, but my mother who I love dearly, would like some grandkids. However if it’s in God’s plan, I’ll have some. I enjoy working out, watching or participating in basketball, tennis, track and field, boxing, football, volleyball and mixed martial arts.

I am looking for someone to communicate with on a spiritual, emotional type of level. Someone who enjoys fitness and seeks God to learn what He wants us to be. I seek everyday what I can do to help others’ lives become successful as well as my own. I would like to start a racial awareness site to improve communication between all races despite color or religion. Although prison hates me for that, I will never believe we should stick to our races only. I’m hoping to travel to Europe, Brazil, Japan, and other countries when I am released. I also enjoy all types of music. I like Depeche Mode, Bjork, Enigma, Sade, Aaliyah, Jay-Z, Tupac, Eminem, Madonna, Nas, Tool, Korn, etc. I’m not perfect, but I’m trying to improve on my overall view of life.
