Greetings to the world! My name is Derek McDaniel. I’m 5’8”, 167 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes.

Briefly allow me to explain my purpose for posting such an ad for the world to see. I have now been away from the real world 8 years and 5 months, and unfortunately still counting. The good thing is I’m set to be released November, 2008. Quite naturally you’re saying to yourself, why post an ad on the net? Let me explain. I truly desire no dealings with the company I left 8 years ago. I’m looking forward to a new life, meaning new friends, a new lifestyle, a life more meaningful then the one left behind.

I’m now looking to meet real people not looking to pass judgment on my past life misfortunes, but willing to befriend one who has made drastic life changes for a brighter future. After being gone for so long, I’m looking to travel the country/world. I’m open to new found friendships of all races, sizes, and ages. I’m not one to put limitations on what the world may be willing to show me after being absent for so long. (A new way of life.)
I enjoy reading, conversing on issues of politics, current affairs, chess, outdoor life, and cooking. I’m spiritually in tune as a whole. I have a wonderful family that has had my back throughout this long journey that is nearly complete.
