Making The Minutes Count
     Over the last five years I’ve spent all my free time in prison studying Criminal and Civil law. I’ve succeeded in wining many inmates’ administrative appeals challenging prison conditions or denial of medical care. On June 27, 2005, I succeeded in my very first successful state habeas challenge, which forced the C.D.C. (California Department of Corrections) to change a prison regulation which prohibited thousands of prisoners from all visits with any minors. The new regulation now allows all prisoners to visit with any minors.

Conclusion
     Talk is cheap. Change is only accomplished through action. I refuse to spend my time in here watching television all day, hanging out on the yard, or becoming institutionalized. I keep writing and challenging the system, revealing a world hard to imagine.
