I learned the hard way that life is about the choices we make. Along the way, I made some bad choices. Although my case is not quite what it seems, I have learned a lot and feel I am paying for things I have done wrong.

It’s easy to get caught up in the wrong things, even when you’re about the right things and living a good life. I fought professionally for a living and believe things went downhill for me when one of my opponents was paralyzed in our fight together. We later became friends but my love for fighting seemed to be gone and I got myself involved in some bad things.

I put myself in some bad situations and as a result, I sit here today. I can’t say I was dealt a bad hand in life because God gave me all the tools and opportunities to do great things. Sometimes life gets the best of you and you get caught up. I met a lot of good people, have been to a lot of great places, have a great family, and a perfect nine year old son who is my whole world. If it was over tomorrow, I could say I had a great life. Fortunately, I will be out again hopefully sooner than later and I can do it all again and make it all right.

I just hope to meet more solid people I can trust and are about what they say. I do not judge people and I love unconditionally. I am very outgoing and just like meeting good people.
