Who cares? I care!

Bruce
Davis
I’ve learned that no matter how much I care, some people just don’t care back. That being said, allow me to share the situation I’m facing.
I’m Bruce Davis, a 32 year old man who’s been incarcerated since the age of seventeen for attempted murder. I’ve had 4 parole hearings since 1999, and had been turned down each time. I’ve tried everything I can think of to make parole, however, my efforts have gone unnoticed for lack of a strong family support system, or loved ones willing to help me get paroled by sending support letters, or viable job offers. How cold is that?
Here I am a grown man who’s turned his life around, and instead of looking at my transformation they dwell on my support system and refuse to see that I am my own support system; I’m the one who’s going to keep me out of prison, and a productive member in society.
With all that being said I pray that this ad doesn’t fall on deaf ears and blind eyes. I’m asking that whoever reads this will be willing to write me and get to know me – the new changed me! Once you feel comfortable enough to care, you might be able to assist me build a strong friends and family support group.
My next parole hearing is in November 2008, so please don’t wait too long to respond. Any and everyone (e.g. churches, outreach programs, employers, etc.) are welcome to help me in my plight to freedom. Thank you for your time and future support in this matter.
